About MyStatLab/CourseCompass
- MyStatLab
(MSL) is an online resource that accompanies your textbook. You
will use it for homework assignments, and it contains the
complete textbook in digital form. I will be posting information
and instructions here at the beginning of the semester.
- You register at this website: www.coursecompass.com
- To register for MSL, you need to know your Course ID number.
- If you are enrolled in section 1 (MWF 9:15am), your CourseID is cronovich76275
- If you are enrolled in section 2 (MWF 11:00am), your CourseID is cronovich89164
- If
you purchased the textbook at the book store, it contains an access
code that you will need to register. If you purchased only the
access code at the bookstore, you will need it to register.
Another option is to simply pay online when you register; the fee
is $75 and gives you online access to the full textbook.
- Please
register as soon as possible. Your first three assignments have
been posted, and two of them are due in less than a week.
- HELPFUL TIPS FOR USING MSL:
- When
you log in and look at the screen, there is an overwhelming amount of
stuff there. Just focus on what you need, which for now is just HOMEWORK and possibly the eBook
(this is the online version of the complete textbook). MSL is new
to me, too, but as I learn more about it, I will simplify the interface
that you see.
- If
you have trouble reading the eBook, try turning off your pop-up
blocker. This has worked for me and several students. .
