Family This picture was taken during our Nantucket reunion in Aug. 2003; it was the first time that all of us had been together since Tom's wedding in 1990. It was on a the whole a very festive time in which we celebrated being a family, and the memories from it are all the more poignant because of Beth's death in October 2004. |

Here's a much earlier picture, from Halloween 1965. My mom found it (I think in her mother's slides) and had copies made for us. One of the things I found quite striking is that the pose I'm in (at far left) is very characteristic--it's funny to see one's mannerisms being evident so early. O |

Here's my sister Cathy and her husband Fred, departing down the aisle at the close of the wedding rehearsal. He is a very nice man and they are very happy. We are happy for them! May 2010

On our way home from Nantucket we stopped for a short visit in Ct. to see Tom and his family. This picture of Tom and Nancy was taken right before we left, when I realized that we hadn't taken any photos! August 2008

There was a drought on Nantucket when I was visiting in June, so when I went home from the beach I would water the flowers I had planted by Beth's headstone. When I came one day, someone had left these beautiful yellow roses. I loved it as a picture. July 2010

And since friends are often loved at least as much as families, here is my Colgate classmate Tommy Brown, whom I've known since spring 1976. He's here with his son Spence, here a junior in high school, but now off to play football at Middlebury College. July 2008
