Here's a much earlier picture, from Halloween 1965.  My mom found it (I think in her mother's slides) and had copies made for us. 

One of the things I found quite striking is that the pose I'm in (at far left) is very characteristic--it's funny to see one's mannerisms being evident so early.

Here's my sister Cathy and her husband Fred, departing down the aisle at the close of the wedding rehearsal.

On our way home from Nantucket we stopped for a short visit in Ct. to see Tom and his family.  This picture of Tom and Nancy was taken right before we left, when I realized that we hadn't taken any photos!

There was a drought on Nantucket when I was visiting in June, so when I went home from the beach I would water the flowers I had planted by Beth's headstone.  When I came one day, someone had left these beautiful yellow roses.  I loved it as a picture.

And since friends are often  loved at least as much as families, here is my Colgate classmate Tommy Brown, whom I've known since spring 1976.  He's here with his son Spence, here a junior in high school, but now off to play football at Middlebury College.
