Will you meet your life partner on the India trip?

Well, to tell the truth, neither did this happy couple (at far left), who dated for a couple of years before coming to India in Jan. 1999.

But even if you don't meet your soul mate, you could well form (or reinforce) some lifelong friendships, both with the other students, and with me.

Half of the 1999 group gathered for Eric (Monkey) and Chandra's wedding on August 25, 2001, over which I presided as master of ceremonies.  Flanking me (the tallest and visibly oldest person) are Brad Rudd and Amanda Tomzak.  In between the three of us and the blissfully happy nuptial couple are Ryan Ruffcorn and Sarah Vokes (see photo below)

Here's a photo from Sarah and Ryan's wedding reception, which was the weekend after the wedding above.  Ryan and Sarah had begun dating the fall before the trip began, so for them the time in India was a more important bonding experience).

Aside from the nuptial couple (both in light blue), were Emily Dehne and Chandra Legue (at left in the front), and Tyson Acker, who came on the 2001 trip.  Tyson was a childhood friend of Sarah's, and this is how he found out about the trip.

Who wouldn't be happy, at seeing others so?
