This photo was taken just after our arrival at "my" house in Haridwar--my friend Kaku (real name: Uma Shankar) Pandey met us with garlands at the train station. Thanks to Peter Elling for this photo.
Many of the participants have obliged me by writing down some impressions about the trip to share with others. Although I'm obviously using this as a promotional tool for the next round (January 2003), I also wanted each person to write in his or her own voice, without either prompting or editing from me (beyond correcting the occasional spelling error).
