This course is offered every semester.

Explanatory Links for the Course Readings, Course Overview, Religion in the News Assignment, Written Assignments, and the two Take-Home Exams can be found on the course Eracer page.  Please read each of these carefully.

The particular examples (historical religious traditions) surveyed in this course change from semester to semester, but in all cases these examples are intended to stimulate students to think seriously about the importance of religion as a dimension of human society, culture, and life.
